A matched pair of beaker vases comprising of archaic gu form, surmounted by a tall trumpet neck, the globular central section raised on a tall spreading foot, two panels on each section. On top trumpet neck, one panel decorated with a host having a chat with guest, and the other panel decorated with four people playing qi with a servant standing by the side. Two panels on globular central section, one decorated with a seating couple watching kids playing around, and the other shows the family sailing in a boat. On the top spreading foot, one panel decorated with the host having chat with his guest and the other is the host standing and watching kids play. Six panel's painting on both vase are the same, only has mirror reflection. The base inscribed with Kangxi mark. 19 inch H, 9 inch dia
