拍品描述: Description: LARGE BUDDHA IN MARAVIJAYA.Thailand. Rattanakosin period (after 1782). 19th/20th c. Bronze with lacquer gilding. Eyes inlaid with mother-of-pearl (one part lost). Sitting in meditation with hands in bhumsparsa mudra calling the earth. The tightly fitted robe decorated with intricate patterns in bas-relief. His hair is shown as small, stylized locks, the ketumala at the top of the head represented as flame. At the front of the base an unused reserve for an inscription. Height 108cm, width 75cm, depth 39cm. Condition A/B.Provenance:-Art collection Denmark.-Acquired before 1950 at Nellermann & Thomsen, Aarhus, Denmark. Estimated Shipping cost for this lot: Arrangement after the sale with VAN HAM Grosser Buddha in maravijaya Thailand. Rattanakosin-Zeit (ab 1782). 19./20. Jh. Bronze mit Lackvergoldung. Augen eingelegt in Perlmutt (ein Stück verloren). Sitzend in Meditation mit den H?nden in bhumisparsa mudra die Erde anrufend. Das eng anliegende Gewand verziert mit feinen Mustern in flachem Relief. Die Haare wurden durch kleine, stilisierte L?ckchen dargestellt, die ketumala als Flamme auf dem Oberkopf. Auf der Vorderseite des Sockels eine unbenutzte Reserve für eine Stiftungsinschrift. H?he 108cm, Breite 75cm, Tiefe 39cm. Zustand A/B.
