拍品描述: This wonderfully detailed antique etching is pencil-signed and dated 1893 by the artist Ernest Christian Rost (1866-1940). It is a great example of pastoral etchings which were popular decorations for homes in the late 19th Century. It is newly matted, and installed in a newer gold wood frame which measures 13"x27 1/2" . The glass is original (1890's) and has appropriate bubbles and imperfections. The frame has a few small and unobtrusive dings. Item ID: 4217AUT1
