Indiana artist James McDonald created this atmospheric, Tonalist-inspired landscape titled Approaching Spring in the late 1990's.
The image is not a reproduction, and only exists as a hand-made serigraph edition. McDonald worked with a master printer at the AFA Press printmaking studio in Michigan, and created an edition of 35 pieces. This impression is numbered 4/35, and is signed and titled by the artist. In the lower right corner, there is an embossed chop mark from AFA Press, the publisher.
The print has never been framed, and is in excellent condition. The plate size is 16"x20", printed on heavy Coventry rag paper measuring 21"x26".
The print is unframed and will be shipped either flat or in a tube.
