拍品描述: L. Pollara: A View of Top Withens, c. 1970, oil on canvas on hardboard artist's panel, signed. Frame is also c.1970. The subject of this picture is a farmhouse called Top Withens located near the village of Haworth in West Yorkshire, UK. Top Withens is of interest as it is mentioned in Emily Bronte's book Wuthering Heights and Haworth is the village the Bronte sisters lived in. If you do a search for Top Withens, Haworth you will bring up photos etc. The painting is in good condition, frame has minor abrasions. Panel size is 18""x24"" Item ID: 5351
