拍品描述: The White Mountains of New Hampshire have inspired many artists, including the one who painted this rocky stream. This c.1910 oil painting has the immediacy of having been created on location (plein air), and the fluid application of the paint attests to the skill of the artist. Unfortunately for us, the painting is unsigned. The canvas is mounted on board, and framed in its original gold-toned wooden frame. The canvas is in good condition, the frame has some chipping.
