拍品描述: This beautiful oil painting of a New England field on sunny day in late summer is titled IN THE FIELD and was painted en plain air (on location) in Old Lyme Connecticut by contemporary New England artist Robin Wessman. Robin Wessman was formally trained as a fine art painter at the University of Massachusetts, North Dartmouth (BFA), and Ohio University (MFA). He is well-known mostly for his marine and landscape paintings inspired by the New England coastline. This oil painting is on stretched canvas and signed in the lower right corner. It is mounted in a gray and silver wood frame. Painting dimensions: Image - 11"h x 14"w; Framed – 17 1/2"h x 20 1/2"w. Note: This painting was created on the same day as THE ISLAND by Bruce Wood (RubyLane item # BW835 ) The artists are both members of the Lyme Art Association and were painting together at Clucas Field in Old Lyme, Connecticut.
