Gruen Watch & Co., triple calendrier Datora en acier inoxydable, calibre Venus 204 remontoir manuel, réf. 74356 E, gravé à l'intérieur du bo?tier série N°415CA, guichet date en anglais, résistant à l'eau et aux chocs, antimagnétique, cadran argent avec chiffres arabes appliqués en or, bracelet cuir marron avec boucle ardillon plaquée or.Histoire: Cette montre rare et unique rappelle un mythe, qui persiste encore, concernant Gruen, Rolex et Aegler: à une époque on disait que Gruen et Rolex fabriquaient des mouvements pour leurs montres respectives.Ceci est en fait faux, si les deux entreprises utilisaient bien les mêmes mouvements (l'exemple le plus connu est celle de la montre Gruen Tech-Quadron et de sa jumelle la Rolex Prince), en réalité ces mouvements étaient fabriqués par une troisième entité, Aegler, dont l'usine se trouvait juste à c?té de la manufacture de précision de Gruen.Parfois Gruen et Rolex ont, tour à tour, montré des images de l'immense usine Aegler dans leurs publicités, laissant penser que c'était un site appartenant à l'un ou l'autre, alors qu'en fait ils en étaient tous trois copropriétaires. Gruen a vendu ses parts dansAegler dans les années 1930 après avoir déménagé leur production vers la manufacture de précision. Aegler demeurait attaché à Rolex à qui ils vendaient leur stock. One of the most deeply-rooted myths about Gruen and Rolex is that at one time they manufactured movements for each other's watches. This is not true, although both firms did use the same movements - the best known examples are the Gruen Tech-Quadron and its twin, the Rolex Prince - in reality, these movements were manufactured by a third company, Aegler, whose premises were right next to the Gruen Precision Factory.Gruen and Rolex both occasionally showed pictures of the hugeAegler factory in their advertising, implying that this was a Gruen orRolex owned facility, although in fact ownership was shared byGruen, Rolex and Aegler. Gruen sold their Aegler shares in the 1930's, after they moved all production to the precision factory.Aegler then became increasingly tied to Rolex through the sale of stock.
