Among all birds, the wild goose is perhaps the most revered in Chinese tradition for its many virtues. It is regarded as benevolent, as these birds always travel in groups, with the strong never abandoning the weak or elderly. They embody discipline, maintaining precise formations in flight, and symbolize reliability through their consistent migratory patterns from north to south. Most notably, wild geese are seen as symbols of unwavering devotion, as they are believed to mate for life, representing loyalty and enduring love.
