Each bowl is decorated to the exterior with two four-clawed striding dragons chasing the flaming pearl and two downward-facing phoenix, all separated by scrolling folliage. The rim is decorated with the Eight Buddhist Emblems separated by double-trefoils. Each interior is decorated with an iron-red dragon roundel. Each underside is marked with an apocryphal Jiaqing mark.
Condition: One bowl: with two hairline cracks to the rim (approx. 5 cm. long), each with an associated chip.
The other bowl: with a curved hairline crack to the rim (approx. 5 cm. long).
Both bowls: with light wear.
