The bowl is delicately enamelled to the exterior with a branching peony spray and a rose and magnolia spray, separated by a butterfly in flight. The interior is enamelled with a peony spray.

By repute, acquired at auction in 1986.
Catalogue notes:
The combination of the peony and magnolia convey the auspicious wish "yutang fugui" which may be translated as ?May you be blessed with wealth and honour?.
Several Yongzheng-marked bowls also decorated in a boneless style were sold at Sotheby's, including Sotheby's Hong Kong, 6 April 2016, lot 3620, Sotheby's London, 10 November 2017, lot 205; and Christie's Hong Kong, 29 November 2017, lot 3015.
Condition: There are a few very fine hairlines to the rim exterior (approx. 2 cm. long), which are very difficult to see with the naked eye.
There is some very minor glaze crackling to the base exterior, which is not visible to the naked eye.
