The vase is decorated with two fixed-ring elephant-head handles to the shoulder and to the body with two bands of scrolling flowers above a band of foaming waves which is repeated on the rim. The waisted neck is decorated with a stiff leaf band and the foot with a lappet band.
Condition: The base has been drilled through (diam. approx. 1.5 cm.) with associated small chips and heavy surface scratches.
With surface scratches to the foot.
