The plaque is of beribboned double-gourd form surmounted by two further ribbons at the top. One side is inlaid in lapis lazuli with the words 'zhai jie' and to the other side with the Manchu equivalent. The pendant is decorated with various inlaid stones such as coral, malachite, turquoise, and lapis lazuli. From the plaque hangs a knotted tassel.
Condition: Minor dents and wear to the gilding as expected.
There are a few small losses to the inlay.
