拍品描述
China, circa 2300-1500 BC. The circular disk with flat sides and pierced with a central aperture. The translucent stone of a pale greenish yellow color with areas of brown and pale gray with feathery veining. Provenance: Collection of Dr. Ben Essex, a noted English collector of ancient Chinese works of art. He inherited an impressive collection from his grandfather Max Lowenson and has been expanding it with great verve and passion for decades. Today, pieces from Dr. Essex's collection are housed in the National Museum of Wales.Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and signs of burial.
