拍品描述: Oil on canvas painting, entitled, "View from the Garden", signed L. Scott Brewster; 15.5 x 19 inch (39.37 x 48.26 cm). Brewster was trained as an artist at he Toronto Technical School, the Winnipeg School and Banff School of Fine Art. Brewster was a long time teacher and associated with the Ontario College of Art. His friendship with several Goup of Seven member and their influence is present in many of his landscape works. An award is named in the artist's honour (L. Scott Brewster Award) by the Alberta Culture Visual Arts Council. PROVENANCE: Private collection, Montreal, QC
