拍品描述: Pen and ink sketch of two figures. Signed and attr. Frederic K. Taubes (American-Ukraine, 1900-1981) on lower left corner. 9.75 x 6.5 in (24.8 x 16. cm), small mark on the upper right corner. After settling in the U.S. in 1930, Taube established a reputation as a society portraitist, while also producing figurative works throughout his long career. He was a dedicated student of old master and modern painting techniqes and wrote articles and books on the subject.
