中文长介绍:款式:偶然書此文與金萱看後有意思字則無足觀也於石田小築尹默 鈐印:尹默(白) 釋文:自古賢哲,勤乎學而立其名。 若不學,即沒世而無聞矣。 且會稽之竹箭,湛盧之斷割,不括而羽之,不淬而礪之,終不見利用之材耳。 羲之雲:“耽玩之功,積如邱山。 ”張芝學書,池水儘墨。 當其雅趣,求彼真意,無圖其形容,而滯於體質。 此貴乎誌意專精,必有誠應也。 餘中宵之間,遂夢吞筆,既覺之後,若在胸臆。 又因假寐,見張芝指一道字用筆體法,斯源也。 足明至誠感神,信有徵矣。 故羲之於山陰冩黃庭經,感三臺神降。 其子獻之於會稽山,見一異人披雲而下,左手持紙,右手持筆,以遺獻之,獻之受而問之曰:“君何姓字? 複何遊處? 筆法奚施? ”答曰:“吾象外爲宅,不變爲姓,常定爲字,其筆跡豈殊吾體耶? ”獻之佩服斯言,退而臨冩,向逾三歲,竟昧其微。 況乃不學乎? 羲之雲:“自非通靈感物,不可與談斯道。 ”夫道者,學以緻之。 飽食終日,而無所用心,則去之逾遠矣。 不得其門而入,雖勤苦而難成矣。 今立以君臣之體,類以攻戰之勢,將以近而喻遠,必因筌而得兔。 務欲成其體要,啟其戶牖,庶將來君子,思而勉之。右唐虞伯施勸學篇。 本文出自唐代虞世南《勸學篇》,是沈尹默與金南萱女士讀後之作。本件作品來源於華盛頓特區的金女士私人收藏,其母金南萱是位藝術家。早在浙江省杭州一中任教時,金南萱就認識了當時到杭州訪問的沈尹默,她對沈的爲人和書法非常欽佩,儘管沈長她20歲,但卻成了“亦師亦友”的忘年交。 沈尹默(1883~1971),原名君默,號秋明,齋號匏瓜庵,浙江吳興人。現代書法大家。曾爲中央文史館副館長、上海文聯副主席、上海中國畫院畫師、上海書法篆刻研究會首任主任委員。 金南萱(1903-1989)女,名森。浙江杭州人。擅書畫,工山水。爲中國女子書畫會成員,曾任中法大學孔德學院及北平女子文理學院講師。1984年爲上海市文史館館員。 虞世南(558年-638年7月11日),字伯施,會稽郡(今浙江省寧波市慈溪市觀海衛鎮)人。南北朝至隋唐時期政治家、書法家、文學家,“凌菸閣二十四功臣”之一。

英文长介绍:Inscription: "By chance, I wrote this text for Jin Xuan to read. Though the words are of little significance, they were written at the Stone Field Studio. - Yinmo." Seal: Yinmo (white) Shen Yinmo (1883–1971), originally named Junmo, also known as Qiuming, with the studio name Pigua'an, was from Wuxing, Zhejiang. He was a master of modern calligraphy and served as the Deputy Director of the Central Literature and History Research Office, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a painter at the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy, and the first Director of the Shanghai Calligraphy and Seal Carving Research Society. Jin Nanxuan (1903–1989), also known as Sen, was from Hangzhou, Zhejiang. She excelled in calligraphy and painting, particularly landscapes, and was a member of the Chinese Women's Calligraphy and Painting Society. She also served as a lecturer at the Condé Institute of Sino-French University and the Women's College of Arts and Sciences in Beiping. In 1984, she became a member of the Shanghai Literature and History Research Office. This work, inspired by Yu Shinan's "Essay on the Encouragement of Learning" from the Tang Dynasty, was written by Shen Yinmo after reading it with Ms. Jin Nanxuan. The piece comes from the private collection of Ms. Jin in Washington, D.C., whose mother, Jin Nanxuan, was an artist. Jin Nanxuan first met Shen Yinmo in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, when she was teaching at Hangzhou High School. Although Shen was 20 years her senior, they formed a close friendship as both teacher and friend, as she greatly appreciated his character and calligraphy. Yu Shinan (558–638), courtesy name Boshi, was a native of Kuaiji County (now Cixi, Zhejiang Province) and a politician, calligrapher, and writer during the Southern and Northern Dynasties through the Sui and Tang Dynasties. He was one of the "Twenty-Four Meritorious Officials of Lingyan Pavilion."
